  • Classroom Supplies 3

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

I would like to sincerely thank all the donors who contributed to the funding of the project. It will enable many of my students to have the supplies that they need to help them succeed. Many are from an area that is impoverished in many ways and they cannot always get the supplies.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Green

This classroom project was brought to life by The SONIC Foundation and one other donor.
  • Tigers Need Supplies

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you so much to all of the donors that enabled this project to be funded. Many of my students come from broken homes and many are not financially able to get the supplies that will aid them in being successful in the classroom. Thank you all for your willingness to help these scholars succeed.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Green

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 3 other donors.
  • Tigers Need Classroom Supplies!

    Funded Aug 9, 2021

Students use technology to aid them in finding answers for assignments, articles on content, and items for enrichment. We have been virtual several times this year so it aids students who do not have access to a computer at home.

Students are very pleased because many of the items donated they do not have access to getting. Some are basic supplies such as a calculator, pens, paper, a pencil sharpener and others.

Students in high school are very tech savvy and are eager to learn with technology.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Green

This classroom project was brought to life by Emerson Collective and 2 other donors.
  • Tigers Need Supplies 2!!!

    Funded Nov 7, 2021

The impact to my six classes has been enormous. I teach at an inner city school in an area that is driven with crime. A lot of the items that they need to be successful academically they cannot provide on their own.

Items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, calculators, binders, and markers are necessary classroom supplies that many cannot get for themselves initially and some not at all.

This generation of students are extremely tech savvy and utilize technology to a great degree. Many are very knowledgable from middle school on. The online printer that I received allows students to access articles on the internet and research that I can then print off for them.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Green

I am trying to increase their interest in the learning process. Many of these students come from homes where education is not a priority. These students have interests in careers but they do not have the family support to help them. They are also influenced by negative factors in the community.
