While building students’ self confidence, they will gain a competitive edge in new opportunities. STEM allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities to encourage many different careers like engineering and scientist but does not necessarily limit them to a particular field of study. STEM allows students hands-on experience. Making math and science enjoyable and exciting provides students with many opportunities to engage and learn in a unique way. Research shows students that have the opportunity to engage in STEM activities excel in critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. This builds connections between the school, work place, community and beyond to the world.
