Expanding our classroom phonemic centers with more hands-on manipulatives has been a huge must-have on my wish list. I have loved sharing my interest in learning with my students. I love when they choose an interactive activity that helps them to continue building on their phonemic awareness skills. Having a hands-on learning environment is super important to me and having a variety of interactive learning materials will allow my students to find something that interests them and supports their learning style. Due to the pandemic, it has been a struggle to make sure we have enough manipulatives so that students are not having to work in large groups. With enough manipulatives for each student, it helps to keep them actively engaged in each lesson. The manipulatives from this project will allow me to make sure every student can have something to use individually or with one other student.
