Art Is Awesome!
Funded Aug 3, 2023First, I want to say thank you!! You have no idea how grateful I am for my materials. All though these materials were small ones, they help be the foundation to the larger lessons we do in art.
The students were excited and happy that we are able to have these materials in the class. Being a low income school puts pressure on the parents to get these materials especially if they do not have the money.
The students use the primary composition books in art for basic art journaling. We use them for our sketches for our ideas as well. Having sharpies and black crayons to use for defining and outlining our designs is such an impact on their artwork.
Using small utilities cups for our clay art to be able to contain slip and ceramic glazes is such a huge help. What a game changer. I am able to store the slip and glazes. they also help with waste. I am able to save the slip and glazes for reuse by keeping them stored correctly.
Having display card for my room of the Art Elements and Design is a gamer changer. I have been an itinerant for the majority of my art teacher life. Being bounced around from school to school during the week my display cards do get damaged. I am able to have them in both my schools. Once again. Thank you!!!! Everything little thing helps.”

Funded Jun 17, 2022Thank you for taking the time to fund my Clay Project. Our kiln in the school was broken for over 10 years and we were finally able to use it. We are making clay aliens, pinch pots, and flower pots. I also teach ASD students. These students are loving using another material that is foreign to thgem. Being able to create art with our hands and creating such awesomeness in the classroom brings so much joy.
We also recieved yard ahnd textiles for our classroom loom. The studens started to weave. Love being able to give my students many medias of art to be able to teach in my class. Thank you again.”

Funded Mar 6, 2022A big thank you to those who have donated. The sketchbooks are a great added bonus in our art class. Students are able to take notes and draw inside them. Having students wanting to create their own ideas create an art choiced based classroom. This is a great foundation for fostering a want to create art.
The Classroom Loom is a big hit. The students are creating multiple crafts using fibers. The classroom loom is so large they are working together and making collaborative art pieces in our class. Using other material such as fibers and using our hands as the tools to create art gives the diverse students differents ways to creat art.
Thank you again.”
