  • Social Gathering Corner

    My students absolutely love having access to such devices as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, in which Donors Choose helped me acquire. Technology has helped some many students deal with multiple issues due to COVID-19. Just the ability to be silly and open up with current classmates and new classmates while using this device has greatly impacted their emotional well being.

    Young people may use technology and screens to avoid complex or negative emotions, which have been in abundance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Experts agree that emotion regulation is a critical component of mental health and that interfering with its development during childhood and adolescence can lead to issues such as anxiety and depression. Allowing children to collaborate with others on such devices can uplift their participation in the classroom and help lower their social anxiety.

  • Elmo in Math

    Thank you again for helping us attain this tool. It allows us to see the projection of objects on the board and allow the class to have a better view of the things. Elmo projectors are widely used in classrooms for teaching purposes. Elmo projectors are used for teaching in classrooms when you want to teach such concepts which can be categorized into groups. My students absolutely love it. Everyday I have students that can't wait for me to turn it on and display something on the board. I has made the entire work flow much easier in the classroom.”
