My students will benefit from the materials I have chosen by helping me to provide more hands on activities, colorful games and visuals to improve phonological awareness skills. There is a great need to learn and improve the basic skills needed to be a successful and fluent reader in. This all begins in the early years. In order to have small groups working on basic reading skills, there needs to be a variety of these materials. It is also imperative to provide activities that will keep other groups engaged while working independently while I am working directly with other groups.
