I can have my students learn to log the different ways that weather affects them in real time. They can read the weather on the internet but what does that really teach them. Hands on science and math will be experienced by my students. If the barometer is high what does that mean? This will help them feel the differences. Wind chill is another thing that they can learn to understand. Temperature isn't the only aspect part of what they feel in our area wind chill makes a big difference.
