Thank you so much for funding my project. These stools will greatly help my special education students with sensory needs to be more attentive and increase their learning potential.
In addition, these additional seating options will provide my students with opportunities for more social interaction, movement and accessibility. Thanks again!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Thomas
This classroom project was brought to life by The State of Oklahoma.
Some of my students fidget a lot at their desks which interferes with active listening. Some of them topple their desks over which creates a disturbance to the entire class and sometimes causes damage to computers, IPads and other items on their desks. In addition, my classroom is provided the "hand me down" headphones that don't provide the best listening experience as they are old and often times don't fit their heads well either.
Desks with chairs attached prevent students with Autism/ADHD from fidgeting, toppling the desks and breaking computers and contributes to their ability to focus and learn. Headphones are much needed for computer lessons to allow each student to improve their listening, ability to focus, and learn.
