The donations to this project will help to improve my students' reading levels. Reading books stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand what they are reading. My students transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn” in 2nd grade. Having a bigger selection of books will encourage them to read more and they will be learning and not even know it. My goal is for them to enjoy what they read and grow.
