  • Let Us Work From the Inside Out!

    My middle school students were very excited to dissect the frogs that I received from Donors Choose. The biggest differences were small groups with more supplies, new dissecting tools, and colorful instruction manuals instead of black and white copies.

    My students are eager for more lab supplies. I am in a small rural school, and with the supplies from Donors Choose, I feel like I can offer the type of science class that every middle school science student should experience.

I have enjoyed teaching at Wayne Middle School for over 30 years. I love to teach science because cooperative learning groups are my favorite days! Since I teach in a small school, my older students are often able to peer tutor and help during labs. I teach teenagers so everyday is a new day! They are excited when we receive new materials. It’s like a holiday every time we get new supplies. Some of the demographics with my school are not correct with national stats. We are approximately 70% free and reduced lunches. We have a variety of different ethnic and economic students. Thank you for looking at my projects.

About my class
