The games and manipulatives will help my students to build and strength their phonics, reading, writing and comprehension skills. The phonemic awareness boxes will help to strengthen their sounds. The teaching tubs will give them a hands on and visual for diagraphs and vowel sounds. Roll and Read will help them to decode new words by letting them focus on short vowel sounds, long vowel sounds, blends and digraphs, or word families. It will help prepare them for the next grade level. It will also help my struggling readers to become stronger confident readers who love to read. My goal is to give my students a fun and engaging environment to learn in by providing them with some fun and engaging games and manipulatives.
