Since COVID-19, students have fallen behind in reading. While at home, many students did not have access to books. While reading online is excellent, an actual book is more significant. Our school does not have the funds to help a reading teacher build their classroom library. Providing a classroom library for my students that is diverse and engaging will advance their reading skills. I hope to provide literature that helps my students think beyond our community and learn about other cultures. Additionally, I hope to provide engaging literature like graphic novels for students who are disinterested in reading.

About my class
