    I can't tell you thank you enough for your support. My "books" I make with my students are very costly, so any help is appreciated a lot. I have not had to pay out of my pocket this year for my art supplies.

    My students love to see their books with their pictures on the pages and their art work. This is something they can keep forever for lots of Pre-K memories. We have doughnuts and orange juice at the end of the year with parents and the students get to present their books to their mom, dad, grandma, or whoever they live with.

    It's nice not having to search for paper and other materials to make our art pages. The kids absolutely love to see their art work that they created. They get really excited when they get their first look at their completed "book" . To see the smiles on my parents' faces when they first see the books is priceless as well.

Pre-K students thrive on being able to express themselves through art. I focus on doing one art project each week and for every holiday. Painting, coloring, cutting, and gluing, the messier the better. I try and make sure my students have fun while learning! For an end of the year project we build scrapbooks for each student. I allow each student to personalize them. I take photos throughout the year of all of our projects, field trips, and everything in between so each student has plenty of photos. This allows the students to create something they can keep with them forever as well collaborate with other students in the class to create the scrapbook. The requested resources will allow me to continue this project and make each students school year special. This will further their education by developing key skills: collaboration, fine and gross motor skills, decision making, improve hand eye coordination, and develop their creative side. The supplies I requested will be used in various projects throughout the year and to finish the scrapbooks. I print the photos on my personal colored printer using the card stock and the lamination sleeves. I also supply school supplies for a majority of my students every year to ensure they have everything they need to succeed. Any of the requested items will help my classroom immensely and ensure the students succeed!
