With this classroom printer, my students will be able to print out their essays for science class and work on giving/receiving peer and teacher feedback with physical copies of their writing. Science communication is key to the standards for science class where they have to "construct explanations" about various topics. The printer will also allow us to print off missing assignment lists to assist kids who are behind, and to print off things for projects (such as images for posters, etc). For example, my students recently wrote an essay about how ocean currents transport energy and matter, and having a printer would've been super helpful!
