  • Fun Seats, Great Projects, and Another Camera! Oh, My!

    Your donations were so important to our class and school! Students have been enjoying the alternative seating every day as we do our classwork and projects. Students seem to learn better when they are have fun, and the bean bag chairs, wobble seats, and cushions all help with that.

    Another amazing contribution was our new camera. With as many students as we have in Journalism, having another camera has greatly helped out. The students love "camera days" and can't wait to use them. The extra batteries and charger help out so much, by allowing an extra battery per camera bag.

    The books have added a lot to our social studies classes. Students really enjoy doing the quick lessons as bell work.

  • Successful Students Require Special Supplies!

    My students have greatly benefited from your donations last year. We use the art supplies weekly, if not sometimes daily. All students use the colored pencils, scissors, pencil sharpeners. We use the document camera all the time when notes are needed. Students from all around our campus have benefited from the pencils. I use the white boards all the time for all my classes. The globe has been helpful, especially when talking about current events with journalism students. Sometimes, they don't know where a country is or how far away it is and a visual representation is vital.
