By using active sand/water and light centers students will have the opportunity to engage in oral language time. During these times they will building academic vocabulary, work to expand their knowledge and expand their English proficiency. Due to COVID -19 many young children are missing the time they would of generally gain in prek activities. Many of our students this year have come to us with limited English or limited academic vocabulary. These centers will encourage children the time to use their voice in the classroom to aid in their learning.

About my class
