My students have a love for reading, but they also ask me frequently if they can sit anywhere besides their desks. As an adult, I know it's hard to sit in the same place all day to do your work. Expecting students to do the same is not fair. Students should be given the opportunity to stretch, sit back, and relax when doing their daily assignments. I feel that allowing them other seating options in the classroom will encourage them to stay more focused and feel more comfortable in the classroom. School shouldn't be a place to feel uptight. It should be a place to come to, relax and be yourself. Please help give my students extra seatings to choose from to relax and learn.
