Thank you so much for your support of our school project! We are so excited to learn that they will have STEM sets in our classroom to use. I am extremely excited that they will be able to build their social skills as well as improve their areas of reading, math, and science. Also, I am very enthusiastic as to see how this project will improve their skills in all areas and on all levels of learning. Thank you for this Hands-on learning opportunity. This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education.

My goal is to help my students to have a fun, safe, educational place to research career ideas while building social skills; along with learning science, math, reading, and social studies. By incorporating learning centers in the 6th grade classroom, using STEM activities and other hands-on supplies will help students improve their social skills and career exploration. Together pupils will learn by using the kits to build projects, incorporate math and science and improve their social skills. The students that learn differently and are on diverse levels will understand and learn more easily by using STEM projects, science activity tubs and math kits. The students with learning diversities will be able to feel more confident in themselves by pairing up with others. Also, being able to have a reason to talk to others and feel more connected by building social skills.
