Students in my classroom will use these resources during transition or centers or if they finish early. These resources like the Osmo coding kit, will be used as support in the classroom. I try and use STEM resources as much as possible in the classroom to support lessons as well as engagement. What I like and want the most out of the Osmo coding kit is giving the students the basics of programming, creative problem-solving skills, music creation & pattern recognition. Osmo sees and reacts to real-life movement, building on teamwork, listening skills, critical thinking, observation skills, Hands-on tangible play, and problem solving. The books will be used to build a classroom library, reading is something we do a lot in my classroom as well. I encourage my students to read when they finish their work and recently, we have implemented early finishers cards in my classroom. We are always busy in my room.
