Although I teach virtual courses, these materials will be used primarily for the traditional brick and mortar student to demonstrate their knowledge through more variety of hands-on methods in the science classroom. Students already use technology with their Chromebooks, but sometimes it provides too many distractions, which is why these creative alternatives to reviewing or probing for think-pair-sharing or demonstrating knowledge of concepts with be a great addition to have in my science classroom. Too often, I find kids are afraid to speak out loud, but will write down questions they may have or share something they know.
