You Can Count on Me Like 1,2,3!
Funded Aug 13, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity! When my students helped me open the box of new materials they were so excited. We began using the games immediately! This brought so much excitement and a spark for learning math concepts immediately.
I now have a variety of materials that will help students learn basic math concepts such as counting, comparing quantities, sorting, and more!
I have placed the materials in our math centers for the children to explore on their own, however, the greatest impact is when I get to spend one on one time with the students using the materials as I introduce math concepts each week! Thank you again for being a blessing to my littles and my classroom!”

Funded Nov 5, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity. The children were so excited when the big box arrived in our classroom. They were able to help open the box and unwrap it to reveal a new shelf for our classroom. It was so fun to hear them take a guess as to what was inside and when revealed how it was going to be used.
I told them the shelf would be placed in our pretend center to help organize our pretend clothes and accessories. The next day after organizing the shelf, the kids saw it and couldn't wait to go play.
This shelf has made such a difference in their play and imagination. They now have a first glance ability to see the dress up clothes and can make better choices. I am seeing they all want to go and play using all of the accessories available. The shelf also makes it possible for easier cleanup and organization. I am so grateful for the blessing and new addition to our classroom.”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you for your generosity! My children were so excited when I opened the new puzzles and showed them all of the different varieties! They couldn't wait to explore and investigate!
I have seen the children improve upon their problem solving skills! Puzzles require patience and a stick to it attitude. Many of my kids are learning to persevere as they work to figure out space and shape within each puzzle. I also see how the kids are interacting with each other and are learning to work together to solve each of the puzzles.
I am so grateful for your help and with the new puzzles your generosity continues to build skills daily and problem solving skills for a lifetime!”

Funded Feb 8, 2022My students and I are so very grateful for the light table and accessories. When the materials arrived, the kids were so excited. I told them we had some very generous people wanting to provide a light table for our class. It really was like Christmas day all over again. As I began opening each box, all I heard was "awww" and "I want a turn to play." I even heard one of my students say, "this is the best day ever."
We began using the materials right away. We started with sorting different objects. As a teacher, it was fascinating to watch each group of students work together and find a way to sort. This allowed me to see how well my students problem solve and also to see if they understood the concept. We also used the materials to build words as they explored the letter tiles.
As we continue to use the accessories, I want the kids to have an opportunity to explore x-ray film of human and animal bones as we compare and contrast skeletal features. Thank you again for providing our classroom with all of the items. These items will continue to spark learning year after year.”
With gratitude,
