The Missing Piece

Funded May 6, 2022

My students were happy and excited to get new dry-erase markers to write and solve math equations. We were all happy to have the dry-erase spray cleaner because we were tired of having smudged tables and boards that looked dirty at the end of every day. Having a small dry-erase table and rolling chairs where a couple of students can work with me or a teacher assistant allowed everyone to participate and make my lessons more inclusive. Even though I was moved to a different role in my school I have been able to have kindergartners and my after-school students use the materials to make learning more fun and comfortable for them. All of my students find the use of dry-erase materials very fun and easy to use so it has been great to make those materials readily available and limit any inconvenience. My students were excited to get new bright markers along with alternative seating that has helped us make learning more accesible.”
