Each item I have chosen will allow the students to work in groups, learn from one another, and bring the content from the lesson to life. Many of my students struggle with basic math skills. Each manipulative I have chosen will be a great asset to ensuring my students' success in the coordinating standard. Each item will provide quick and easy ways to review or practice math facts. Many students do not have access to learning materials at home, but they should not have to face that same issue while in the classroom. The hands-on science activities are a great way to relieve the stress at the end of a hard school day.
