Science and Art
Funded Aug 31, 2023The supplies that were donated have made a hue impact to my classroom and students. The science project of plants and Crystal have captured the interest of my students. I has opened the eyes to new and fun scientific thoughts. The lights and decoration have allowed for a calming and welcoming environment that will help students feel safe and calm. Students are also getting to express themselves with the use of all the art supplies. We were able to preserve these with laminate paper so they will have them for years to come. The shredder has also allowed for better student information safety. This project has greatly impacted my classroom and will continue to do so for years to come.”

Funded Feb 8, 2022A big, big thank you to Donors Choose!!!! My students and I were so excited to receive the manipulative items and flexible seating for our math centers. As a teacher, it is always a challenge to keep students motivated and attentive while learning, so having flexible seating has been a great advantage for me. The Stackable stools and orange inflatable seats were a big hit. Students loved all the colors and took turns using them at centers and desks.
The manipulative game items we received were so fun and greatly enhanced our mastery in math. The Proof Math card game was a huge success. My students used mental math strategies to win the game and I was very impressed with how much they were able to master. The Allowance Game was extremely helpful in learning about counting money and making change. With the Owlconic Time Game, my students really learned the difference in the hour and minute hand as well as elapsed time.
Thank you again for allowing our class to master math objectives in such a relaxed and fun way. We are so thankful for your generosity and will gladly recommend new teachers to contact Donors Choose in the future.”
