  • Organized Yoga and Basketball Storage

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

    Our Yoga Ball and Basketball Organizers help all our classes utilize time more efficiently. The yoga balls are used for Cardio Drumming to music and we also utilize them for yoga exercises. The basketball cart is sturdy and easy to roll out for students to access. Our students' learning time has increased. Their time working out is maximized. The stations are organized nicely on two sides of our gymnasium.

    The students are able to be more helpful and more independent. The students enjoy the independence of being able to be part of the setting up and putting away process. What a BIG difference these organizers have made for our program!!”

  • Incredible Sound Systems

    "HURRAY!!! We want to thank you so much for your gracious donation for our Bluetooth Speakers and the Wireless Microphone! We are so excited and can not wait to put them to good use! We LOVE exercising to music. Having the Bluetooth capability is a COMPLETE game changer! We will be learning line dances, learning Cardio Drumming routines, after school groups like our elementary cheerleaders will use the system, the system will also be utilized for our school assemblies and so much more!””

  • Jumping for Health

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

    Our new jump rope and hula hoop carts replace carts that toppled over easily. This grant was a wonderful solution to that problem.

    The carts generate smiling faces and jumps with joy from my students!

    The carts we received with our grant organize our jump ropes and hula hoops safely! We no longer have to worry with carts toppling over or having to spending valuable time untangling jump ropes. They are easy to move around and have a safety lock to lock them in place.

    This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Unfortunately, students have been more inactive due to Covid-19. My students have been motivated to improve their stamina and coordination with jump roping. Jumping rope is a excellent skill to help increase aerobic capacity of the lungs. Jump ropes have a tendency to tangle up when stored in baskets. Untangling takes time away from learning, so I am requesting jump rope carts to help organize the jump ropes. We will also be able to organize the ropes accordingly to rope sizes, so students can easily choose a rope size that works best for their height.
