The book selections that were chosen will be read aloud and compared to another selection. While reading aloud, the book will be displayed on the SMART board using the Elmo tablet. I will highlight key details that the author uses to relay their message and grab the readers attention. The students will then create their own writing masterpiece using aspects from the stories that were read aloud in class. After the students are completed writing they will then print the masterpiece for it to be displayed for the school to see! Parents will be invited to view the students work.
