My students will learn new perspectives on historical events and become more engaged in reading. Graphic novels have become a huge draw for students, by having access to these in the classroom it will help them develop a desire to read. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused some students to fall behind academically. Providing my students with these graphic novels will help foster a desire to read and learn. While engaging them in a form of reading that they already enjoy. We, teachers, are always looking for new and exciting ways to teach our kids in ways that are enticing to them.
