Since the start of Covid-19, we have been using more technological devices in the classroom. Each student has an iPad to use in the classroom and to take home with them on digital learning days. Since we use these in the classroom, there are around 20 iPads being used at once and it makes a lot of noise and makes it hard for students to hear. The headphones would help to reduce distractions for the students. The fine tip digital pencils would help the students be able to more accurately write on their devices and get the fine motor skills practice that they need. They can use their fingers, but the fine tip on the pencils would make it more legible. The over the door holder would hold their digital pencils, log in cards, and headphones used on a day to day basis, but in a more organized way. Since these students have been going to school during the pandemic, they have been wearing masks and hearing their teacher while he/she wears a mask and many have problems with how their mouth should be shaped when making certain sounds. The mirrors would help us during our phonics learning time to make sure that our mouths are in the correct shape and placement.
