  • Our Home Away from Home

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

    Thank you so much again for your tremendous donation. Because of your generosity, my students feel like they are at their "home away from home" when they are in school. From the moment, they walk through the classroom door, they feel warm and welcomed. Your donation enabled me to decorate all of the bulletin boards with bright, cozy bulletin board paper, along with beautiful borders.

    Also, I can now laminate lots of different anchor charts, posters, and labels to hang throughout our room. In addition, with your donation, I now have the luxury of laminating their names to hang on the door, as well as name plates to attach to their desks.

    Thank you for making our classroom a beautiful and warm place where we can all spend the day together. The children truly feel like it is a happy place that they can call their "home away from home!"”

    Thank you so much again for your tremendous donation. Because of your generosity, my students are able to "book shop" each week for their favorite books in our class library! I was able to sort all of our books into different categories. For example, there is a "Mysteries" basket, as well as a "Harry Potter" basket, and "Graphic Novels" basket, just to name a few. This makes it easy for children to find the books they are looking for!

    The baskets are aesthetically pleasing as they match the decor of our classroom. They are durable and large, so they do a perfect job of holding all of our books! Thank you once again for making our classroom library one that encourages children to to on an adventure and read!!!”
