The books and flexible seating will help to enhance my classroom library. The students love to go to the reading carpet and adding the new seating will make it even more inviting. I have a very small selection of books at this time and I am growing my classroom library so the children will have a variety of choices to choose from with these new books. The books I have chosen are ones I see the students have interest in and will encourage them to keep reading and increase their reading levels. Also the flexible seating can be used to move around in different places of the classroom for independent reading time. It is very important to make reading time an encouraging and fun experience in my classroom because at this age level finding a love for reading is important.
