As a result of the pandemic and virtual learning, my students have missed some important skills in their learning and development. These games will help promote learning through hands-on games. They will also help with the social skills the students have missed through the virtual learning caused by the pandemic. This will help get the children's hands on books to read to their families at home as well. These materials will enhance my students learning through hands-on activities. All of these materials have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to choose a game to review the skills I have been teaching. They will also be able to choose a book on their level to read at school, share with their family at home, and return to school for the next book. Technology is becoming a bigger part of schools, but I think it’s so important to get students to use hands-on games and read books. It’s easy for students to play on iPads and tablets. I want each student to have the opportunity to work with each other playing games to improve their reading and math skills. Some of the children in my classroom don’t have access to books in their homes. I want them to have books they can take home to read with their family and bring back to school for others to take home as well. This will help build better readers.
