These supplies will enhance the student experience in our science lab. The dissection of preserved frogs is a great way to engage student and introduce them to vertebrate anatomy and mature body systems. We will explore the anatomy of the frog, have discussions about adaptations and how anatomical structures are related to their functions. Students use the mats to help them identify organs and systems. The tools make it easier for students to explore in a neat and organized way. First and foremost, it will give all students a chance to experience what it might be like to have a career in the sciences. They may get so excited about dissection that it sparks their future career choice.
