Having a wide variety of Reading, Language, and Writing materials allows my students to engage in hands-on learning during our Literacy Stations. The Literacy Stations give each student the opportunity to build on the foundation that has been introduced at the beginning of Kindergarten. With the hands-on learning comes motivation, excitement, and advancement to the next level in Reading and Writing as they work with partners and in groups each day. My students will also receive one-to-one instruction during Guided Reading Groups. Having these hands-on instructional materials, I am able to focus on any targeted areas and teach them in an exciting and engaging way while having a lasting impression.
