My students would love a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) manipulatives, which will foster creativity and allow students to utilize their critical thinking skills. These will allow each student an opportunity to demonstrate their own abilities such as: planning, designing, implementing and problem solving as well as being able to work together as a team. These manipulatives can be used for multiple assignments such as: writing, science experiments, math lessons, project based learning and so much more. The cardstock will be used to print STEM based ideas that students can create. During pandemic learning students did not have access to a variety of hands on learning activities but through this grant we could provide them with engaging classroom activities. It will allow them to use their imagination and design a meaningful project, that they are proud of while learning at the same time. Also, we use a variety of items for independent reading time such as headphones, pointers, and flashlights. These items allow for reading to be more engaging. At this time we do not have enough for everyone and we would love a new set.
