  • Calming Art

    Funded Aug 13, 2023

    We have created so many art projects with the supplies you help provide. The laminating paper has help preserve their attwork for years to come. It has provided them with the ability to have an art session when they might not have without the supplies. The calming strips have helped students focus and remain seated when they need to be. We so much appreciate everything that these wonderful supplies have provided to our classroom and all of our students. This has also allowed for parents to be involved and see the art that students have been working on throughout the year. They are not able to express themselves better as we continue through out the school year.”

  • Classroom Manipulatives

    Funded Feb 7, 2022

    My students and I have used all the new resources in small groups and whole class to increase their math knowledge. The hands-on material was excellent to help students improve their skills. The especially enjoyed the plants and watching them grow.

    The students were so excited as we began to receive boxes with our stuff in them. I waited until we had extra time and showed the kids all together and discuss the different things, we could do with it.

    My new students next year will continue to enjoy learning with the items from my project. The may hands-on materials will continue to be used years in the future.”

The goal of my classroom project is to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn through various means. Having ample opportunities to use hands-on activities and manipulatives in the classroom is very important. My project is to provide math and science manipulatives that align with the state standards in my classroom. As well as having the proper organization and storage for these materials. This will ensure these materials will be able to be used for years into the future. The manipulatives will help all students as they are able to work hand-on while learning. This will benefit all students at all levels of learning. The results of this project will be an increase of math and science knowledge. I also believe that this project will result in an increase in the general love of math and science.

About my class
