For many students during this Covid pandemic social interaction has been limited. This has led to a decrease in the ability to communicate and interact with peers and adults in an appropriately social manner as well as a decrease in their expressive vocabulary skills. By providing my students these materials I hope to increase communication skills and interaction skills while encouraging them to use their imagination. More themes and items, would allow me to open doors of new experiences and conversations to the students. To bring my goal to completion, I'd love to be able to provide my class with more dramatic play materials (bakery set with a wooden cake and veterinarian set) and engineering activities such as Legos and interlocking connecting kit.

About my class
