COVID was hard for all students of all ages, but preschoolers have never known any different. This is their first school experience and it’s starting out in COVID protocols. They are now used to masks, constant hand washing and sanitizing, and social distancing. We have tried our best to make our classroom as normal as possible, but are constantly having to sanitize the toys. The toys have taken a hit. The blocks have been destroyed by the constant cleaning and have lost their finish. This is causing splinters which aren’t safe for the students. Because of this, I am requesting for toys to update our block center as well as our science center.
