COVID-19 has had a direct impact on student's learning. We are finding as educators that students have increased their gaps in knowledge due to losing time in the classroom and in-person instruction. Because of this, we are having to intervene more than ever to identify these gaps and find the best way possible to fit the needs of all students to ensure success now and in their future. Technology has been one of the many resources we would love to utilize, but do not have the adequate resources to provide it. Our district has done and is continuing to find ways to provide technology in the classroom through Chromebooks. Having a Chromebook charging cart and headphones is one less thing students or teachers will need to worry about to utilize various online programs. By having one housing system for the devices we have eliminates the problem of not having charged Chromebooks and having the ability to independently work while getting the support they need.
