These materials will give students an opportunity to explore science through hands on investigations about chemical reactions. They will also get to see how plants create their own food . They will also get to determine how mass changes by chemical changes. Students will be able to discover solutions about our ever changing earth by studying weathering and erosion through rocks and other materials. Students will be able to identify that matter is never destroyed through chemical reactions it is only changed. Being able to discover answers by working through investigations will help students Identify how to help our ever growing world. Every Item listed will help provide science kits for our classroom. From the tools for measurement to the lung capacity bags that give students a chance to measure capacity. The balances will be used for measuring mass of objects along with determining if mass changes after a chemical or physical reaction. The volume tube will be used to measure volume of liquids. the volume bag and mouthpieces will be used to measure lung capacity and how our lungs hold air. The straws will be used to mix solutions and also me used for creating rock candy. All of the various containers and bottles will be used for mixing solutions or holding plants. The thermometers will be used to determine if change of temperature has occurred in chemical reactions or physical reactions. The salt, citric acid and yeast will be used to help students to determine the difference between a physical reaction and a chemical reaction.
