  • Water Bottles for the Summer Heat for Children with Autism!

    Funded Mar 14, 2025

    Thank you for your generous donations. My students attend school all year round. We don't have the best air conditioners in our school so it gets very hot and the students sweat a lot. Students hardly drink water during the school day because our water fountains are out of order. Thus, they must bring bottles from home or buy them at school.

    Students always ask me for water, but buying bottles becomes a huge expense out of my personal pockets.

    Learning and listening is very hard when you are thirsty and work very hard in gym class. I am asking for water bottles to hand out whenever a student wants one. I am hoping these water bottles will help keep my students hydrated.

  • Bulletin Board Organization Essentials!

    Thank you for your generous donations, we are so grateful for your support. Due to the items being unavailable on amazon, I had to order different things. This year I've seen a large increase in my autistic population and I was in need of sensory items for them in PE class. I ordered different sensory items for them to sit on. This has made a drastic improvement in my class. The kids are able to focus more because their sensory needs are being met. I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am that this project got funded. Thank you so much!!”

  • Magna Tiles for STEM for Students with Autism

    Thank you so much for the MagnaTiles for my students. I am so grateful for your generosity! The magnatiles are very engaging for my students as they enjoy the magnets sticking together. I can keep them engaged for different types of lessons.

    With the Magna-Tiles, we practice taking turns while building things. We also sort by colors, shapes and part to whole relationships.

    I am so appreciative to add these to PE class. Sometimes my students get overstimulated and need a break and this is a great activity for them to do so.
