To make my upcoming units of Geometry and Test Prep Review more hands on and engaging, my students would thoroughly enjoy getting to manipulate, sort, and work with materials outside of the standard math workbook. The use of the "Math Quickies" activity would provide me with ready made differentiation centers so that I can meet with students in small groups to better meet learning deficits. The 3D shapes, Fraction cards, and decimal grids will provide my students with an opportunity to get their hands on the topics we are discussing, therefore making the learning more meaningful and concrete. The Brain Quest and Critical Thinking activities book will provide me with resources to enrich and extend my curricula for students who need enrichment. In working with students during this difficult time, the games would provide my students with extra time in class with an opportunity to work collaboratively and play, therefore improving their social-emotional health. The basic necessity school supplies will provide me with an opportunity to adequately meet the needs of my students that come from challenging financial backgrounds.
