For my project, I asked for a few things that would help my students with some of the technology they are having to use on a daily basis due to COVID-19. I would like each of my students to have a wireless mouse to use with their laptops. I feel that it will benefit them in a couple of ways. It will help them when they are taking tests because they have to do a lot of scrolling and clicking. It will also make doing and submitting their daily assignments on their laptops easier. I am also hoping to receive 5 charging towers. They will help in the classroom because students will be able to pug in to charge their laptops and still be able to see the front of the classroom. I have a retractable wall on one side of our classroom which only allows 5 total outlets in my whole classroom. I have one place available that they can plug in, but that means that sometimes I have students with their back to me as I am teaching. I would use the charging towers to set up a charging station at the back of the room facing forward so student could stay involved when a lesson is being taught. The computer stand that I ask for will help with classroom instruction. I will be able to use it at the front of the room, which will make it easier to access during teaching time. The last thing that I would like to receive is some books for my classroom. They will be used to give the students a chance to step away from technology and learn from reading a great book.
