These brain games and puzzles will be used to challenge my students. My students want to work in groups again, but we have to figure out a structure within COVID safety guidelines. This project, Challenging the Creative Brain, uses games and puzzles that scaffold by difficulty level; this requires the students to challenges themselves and to work through these puzzle challenges together. This project encourages a creative approach to group work during the pandemic. With these puzzles and brain teasers, they will be able to talk to each other and see what the other is doing clearly without being close to each other. These resources are perfect for group work that allows for social distancing and active student involvement. These puzzles are large enough for students to see and participate with other students trying to solve the puzzles and they are of such varying complexity that they often require interaction to solve. The bonus is that the puzzles are all metal and therefore easy to clean; students can use them without worry.
