This project will be extremely helpful for students to open up and learn more about themselves. The students at our school have been having issues with social skills, emotional regulation, and anxiousness. A lot of this could be attributed to the stressful environment of the pandemic. As a counselor, my main job is to connect with students and teach them how to cope with difficult emotions and situations. This project would help me by providing me resources, such as matching games and conversation starters. These would be helpful when I am teaching small groups, as well as individual students that may need more attention.
