This project will help my creative, resilient students learn problem-solving skills in a relaxed, collaborative learning environment. My goal is to create collaborative learning areas with flexible seating options that will help the students work collaboratively in a comfortable environment. An effective way for students to learn is through collaboration, and this method of instruction reinforces problem-solving strategies that can be used throughout a student's life. I have observed that many of my students have been more distracted and have shown increased anxiety since the covid crisis, and these seating options will have a calming effect on them in the school environment. Thank you for helping my students build a sense of community while learning academics and life skills.
