These materials will allow students to expand their creativity and knowledge about printmaking. It will allow the students to learn skills in screen printing and monotypes which will be brand new to all of them. Learning new skills lights a fire under these students and they really begin to be more engaged and excited to learn. Those "ah-ha' moments are why I teach and why I believe it is so important for students to have those opportunities. These materials will create a creative environment for my students and help keep that spark alive in them. They will then, in return, be more excited and eager to come to class.
