Hands-on Geometry and Measurement

We cannot thank you enough for funding our project. My students and I have really enjoyed the new resources. We were able to use our resources to learn more about geometry and measurement. We used the build and learn boxes to create three dimensional shapes, classify triangles, and make discoveries about surface area and perimeter.

My students were awed and amazed to see all the wonderful hands on materials we received. They were constantly asking when we could pull them out. I had several students who were over the moon about helping me set up the boxes for each project we were working on.

Each project we worked on brought amazement, connections, and discovery. My students are energized about geometery and cannot wait to use them as we go into the next year of learning. We plan on using the materials to discover more about triangles, angles, measurement, and symmetry.”
