Flexible seating will allow my students to more easily collaborate on projects. It will also encourage them to take charge of their learning and make choices that will facilitate their growth and development. Currently, my students are having to make do with clipboards on the floor or standing at a cabinet in order to work on projects. This new seating will help my students to be more comfortable during the day and encourage them to stay engaged in their learning for a longer period of time. As educators, we know that students need the option of being able to move and to work with flexibility in mind. The pandemic has had a profound effect on our students and their ability to stay focused in the classroom. Now, more than ever students need flexible options that provide good social/emotional support at school. Thank you for your support? I can't wait to be able to offer more flexible learning opportunities to my students.
