For years I have used the 50 cent colored pencils with my students. Because of a minimum of pigment they have a difficult time blending. Their projects would not be as bright and smooth as the examples shown on the internet and my own personal ones. They would benefit from good materials.I love teaching color theory as well as 3d projects when they can make the picture pop off the page. Making a lovely green out of yellow and blue works so much better with blendable colors. My 9th grade classes do animal zoom projects. I would love to see them be able to have more indepth looks of fur and feathers. Even lanscapes will be easier and come out better with these pencils.
