Hello! I am Lauren and although this page is for teachers, I am actually a student in high school. For my Capstone project, I want to create a supervised space in the school where students can go for a break. This peaceful place will help students leave the stress of school behind as they enter an area with comfortable seating, essential oils permeating the air, and anti-stress materials at their disposal. When I get over stressed and really need a break I don't necessarily want to go to the guidance counselor's office and talk about it, I just need to take a few minutes to myself so I can calm down and gain control of my thoughts and emotions.
